From the creators of Total BlindZoneManagement™ (TBZM), comes the new and improved Enhanced Total BlindZoneManagement™ System combining camera technology, enhanced mirrors and lighting, and information and telematics to help eliminate blind zones around the vehicle and keep the driver concentrated on the road. TBZM solutions can be combined to create customized systems for all vehicles – from large SUVs to small sedans – to provide safety with comfort and convenience. Whether driving forward, turning or reversing, Magna’s exclusive Enhanced TBZM goes beyond traditional automotive mirrors to provide greater visibility and real-time information to the driver. Press Releases - NaviMirror release
TF version CES With camera-based Predictive Front Lighting, blind zones are illuminated as headlights anticipate and respond to curves in the road for nighttime driving. It improves visibility as headlights also switch automatically between high and low beams in response to oncoming and preceding traffic. These forward-facing cameras also provide a Lane Departure Warning system to the driver as well.

By adding hands-free calling, real-time traffic, and voice recognition, the system allows the driver to easily interface with information in an ideal location, while keeping their eyes on the road. A camera in the back seat (see video) lets drivers see their infant or toddler in the car seat behind them; CargoVue™ allows the driver to keep an eye on precious cargo. Head forward and eyes on the road: CabinVue™ provides the security that comes with seeing that your children and belongings are safe. Now there’s no need to choose between being a good driver and being a good parent. CabinVue™ can be combined with ReversAid™, which provides a view of the dangerous blind zone behind the vehicle. A small convex mirror is integrated into the reflective surface of the vehicle’s side mirror to virtually eliminate side blind zones to make changing lanes or merging easier. New to BlindZoneMirror™, Illumination helps draw the eyes of the driver to the BlindZoneMirror™ through blind zone indication warning or as a simple turn signal.

When the vehicle is put into reverse, a Magna ReversAid™ camera displays a wide-angle view of the blind zone. Unlike other reversing systems, ReversAid™ offers eye-level convenience with Magna’s VideoMirror™ Display-on-Demand through-the-glass display for both auto-dimming and prismatic mirrors.
