Predictive Front Lighting™

With camera-based Predictive Front Lighting, blind zones are illuminated as headlights anticipate and respond to curves in the road for nighttime driving. It improves visibility as headlights also switch automatically between high and low beams in response to oncoming and preceding traffic.  These forward-facing cameras also provide a Lane Departure Warning system to the driver as well.

CornerVue 360™

Magna has integrated camera technology into the front bumpers to let drivers virtually “see around corners” using VideoMirror™ or providing the display elsewhere in the vehicle.  Designed primarily for crowded urban conditions, CornerVue™ makes it easier to pull into the street from narrow driveways or alleys.

BlindZoneMirror™

There are more than 500,000 lane change and merge accidents each year.  Magna’s BlindZoneMirror™ provides a cost-effective solution.  A small convex mirror is integrated into the reflective surface of the vehicle’s side mirror to virtually eliminate side blind zones to make changing lanes or merging easier.  New to BlindZoneMirror™, Illumination helps draw the eyes of the driver to the BlindZoneMirror™ through blind zone indication warning or as a simple turn signal.

ReversAid™

ReversAid™ gives drivers an extra set of eyes when backing up or hitching trailers.  When the vehicle is put into reverse, a Magna ReversAid™ camera displays a wide-angle view of the blind zone.  Unlike other reversing systems, ReversAid™ offers eye-level convenience with Magna’s VideoMirror™ Display-on-Demand through-the-glass display for both auto-dimming and prismatic mirrors.   

ReversAid™ system is also available with integrated graphic overlays, see video, to assist with parking and wireless video connection.
